David Poission French Downhill Skier Dies at Age 35

After a  training crash in Canada at Alberta resort for upcoming World Cup races in North America, 35 years old  French downhill skier David Poisson, a former medallist at the world championships, died on Monday. 

According to an official from Calgary emergency medical services Adam Loria, a call came in mid-morning Monday, and on arrival and assessement of an individual, we determined him deceased on scene,"
"There was no chance for a hospital. We initially called out STARS [air ambulance] but once we made the determination we did stand the helicopter down."
